This holistic course will ladder up from basic regulatory requirements under Data Protection Bill, 2021 (DPB) , General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), UAE’s Data Protection law, Kenya’s DPA and other international regulations to a hands-on experience in data protection compliance programs.

This comprehensive Diploma will progress from the fundamental legal requirements of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the Data Protection Law of the United Arab Emirates, the Data Protection Act of Kenya, and other international laws to a practical experience in data protection compliance.

Data mapping, important internal or external policy considerations, the practical application of Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs), handling personal data breach and incident response, dealing with Data Subject Access Requests (DSARs), evaluating vendors, requirements for international data transfers, and documentation are all covered in this Diploma Course.

Exam Pattern:

  • Format: MCQ based questions.
  • Number of Questions: The exam consists of 90 multiple-choice questions.
  • Time Limit: Candidates are given 2.5 hours (150 minutes) to complete the exam.
  • Passing Score: To pass the exam, you need to achieve a percentage  60%.
